Helping clients define, make progress and work towards achieving their financial goals has been a part of the Falck family since 1939.  Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, Rich began his career in the financial services industry in 1991. After working with a Fortune 500 financial services firm for 12 years, Rich established Falck Financial Services in 2002 as an independent financial planning firm.

Rich's educational background includes a B.A. in Economics with a concentration in Management from St. Olaf College and a degree in Management of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

His professional education includes attaining the CFP® certification from Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. In addition, Rich has earned the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant, ChFC, and Chartered Life Underwriter, CLU, from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Living in Northfield, MN also allows the opportunity to be involved in the life of the community. Rich currently is a member of the board of directors for Merchants Bank and Three Links Home Foundation. Past volunteer activities have included board positions on the Northfield Area Foundation, Northfield Historical Society, Northfield Lacrosse Association, President of St. John's Lutheran Church and coaching of youth soccer.

Rich's wife, Gretchen, is a certified kettle bell functional movement specialist and owner of Forza!, LLC. Together they have a son working in Pittsburgh, PA and a daughter who is a veterinarian in Plymouth, MN.
